For one of the great family traditions, make sure you make it to the Elko County Fair. The county fair kicks off on 08/28/09 and runs until 09/07/09. The horse races are probably my favorite part but I know each of you have a favorite part of your own. With the Elko County Fair having 86 years of tradition under its belt, its pretty safe to say they know how to do a county fair right.Other fun events to watch include the stock horse events such as team roping, branding, sorting and the stallion stakes. The livestock show and home arts are sure to please. Whatever your passion, we’ll see you at at the Elko County Fair. For more info visit http://www.elkocountyfair.com
